Three members of the Camp Fuller Archive Project Committee were invited back to Camp as part of the Summer 2023 staff training week.  Camp Director, Rachel Terceria asked a few committee members to prepare a slide show and presentation for the incoming summer staff.  Of course, we were happy to participate and introduce the staff to Camp Fuller and its deep history.  Louisa Votava, Steven Schwartz and Rick Gaddes had dinner with the staff followed by a media presentation, questions and answers, and explaining various artifacts that were brought to camp for the evening.

We were welcomed by an enthusiastic staff, many of whom had never been to the United States and had only been at camp for a few days.  Lots of stories and traditions were shared by the Archive Project Committee members and a couple of old camp songs were sung.  An ice cream social hosted by the Archive Project Committee followed the presentation and many stayed around afterward to chat and find out more about this magical place where they had just landed.
